Sens 0.5% Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Sens 0.5% Injection is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Sens 0.5% Injection may cause numbness to certain areas of the body for about 2-4 hours after having it. You should wait for the effect to wear off as this may affect your ability to drive

Sens 0.5% Injection works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases the sensation of pain.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation), Slow heart rate, Decreased blood pressure, Dizziness, Inability to empty the urinary bladder, Increased blood pressure, Vomiting.

Do not drive or operate machinery as bupivacaine injection can cause sleepiness.Consult your doctor if you are on controlled sodium diet since it contains sodium; have respiratory, heart, kidney, liver problems or stomach tumor; swollen stomach due to excess fluid or have fluid in lungs; decreased blood volume.Seek immediate medical attention if you feel dizzy, light headed, numbness of lips, tongue and around mouth, problem with sight or hearing after injection of bupivacaine.Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
